Hi, I’m Celia.
I help people build a strong mind and body as a Resilience Food Trainer.
Cooking has always been a meditative space. I believe food connects us to nature, our community, and ourselves.
A series of health changes in my early 30s radically altered the course of my life.
What began as personal health changes and a curiosity to understand the root causes, the “why?” took me on an unexpected journey of self-discovery through food. Leaving behind the comfort of a corporate career and everything I knew, I went back to school to study how nutrition impacts the body, then relocated to NYC to train in culinary to learn how make healthier food taste good. After my studies I moved abroad where I helped launch and teach at a food academy, then led a global sustainable food and wellness initiative for a hotel brand where I traveled around the world, empowering employees on how to improve their health.
Over the past decade, I studied cultural food traditions and holistic healing practices from different walks of life, gaining insight into the challenges of our deeply broken food system and why many people in our modern society find being “well”, unattainable.
What I Discovered:
Well-being starts with an intentional mindset.
Wellness isn’t a label of how, or what we eat.
It’s neither judgement over other people’s choices, nor extreme approaches, or the latest trending diet.
It is an ongoing journey, a long game for the best possible life you can live.
The biggest impact comes from making small, consistent changes that add up to a profound shift in how we feel every day. It involves building resilience.
